We are pleased to invite you to take part in the NXT STARS International Basketball Tournament in Weert, from 23 to 25 May 2026. This international event focuses on talent development, high‑performance basketball, and a strong referee community — and we would be delighted to have you join us as an official.
Officiating: 3PO and 2PO
This year we will be working with both 3‑person officiating (3PO) and 2‑person officiating (2PO).
Assignments for 3PO will be based on your current level and experience.
Clinic and workshop
During the tournament, we will host a referee clinic featuring Bob Bhania and several Dutch talent coaches.
There will also be an optional workshop evening on 22 May.
Participation fee for the clinic: €50.
Accommodation and meals
All meals and accommodation during the tournament will be fully provided by the organization.
You won’t need to arrange or cover anything yourself we’ll make sure you are rested, well‑fed, and ready to officiate.
NXT STARS Spalding referee shirt
All participating referees will receive an official NXT STARS Spalding referee shirt as part of their involvement in the tournament.
